This research was adopted as theme for the research proposal “Research and development of transparent cemented carbide films” invited by the JAXA Space Exploration Innovation Hub in 2022.
This research developed a transparent, hard and environmentally resistant film for optical components used in outdoor environments, such as lighting, and sensors.
We develop and provide ‘super-hard coatings’ that are transparent, hard and have excellent environmental performance and can be used in harsh environments.
This technology could contribute at space exploration.
